Abstract:
This research examines the application of universal design principles in the context of product design in ARUCAD. The study specifically addresses designs for people with hearing and seeing disabilities, with the aim of identifying areas where improvements can be made to better meet the needs of all students. The study will review current literature on universal design and its implementation in universities, as well as gather data through surveys and observations. The findings of this research will provide insight into how product design in Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design can be adapted to ensure accessibility for people with special needs and how universities can play a leading role in promoting universal design in society. The research ultimately aims to contribute to the ongoing efforts to make universities more inclusive and accessible for all students.
